Kick off Bastille Day Weekend under the stars at the beautiful Kip’s Castle during our annual Bastille Day Garden Party.
A beloved Montclair tradition since 2008, this joyful evening brings people together for an elegant yet festive French-inspired summer celebration. This year, the event will be hosted for the first time at Kip’s Castle, a magnificent estate overlooking the New York City skyline. Inspired by a medieval Norman castle, the historic mansion and its spectacular grounds provide a unique and unforgettable setting for Bastille Day festivities.
Guests will enjoy:
- An exceptional summer-inspired country buffet by Cuisine Boulud, created by internationally celebrated chef Daniel Boulud, one of the world’s most recognized ambassadors of French cuisine
- Desserts by Janelle Manning, a Montclair-based pastry chef trained at Le Cordon Bleu and Ferrandi
- Wine, cocktails and refreshing summer drinks
- Live music throughout the evening by Myriam’s band, Nuage Rhythm, blending Parisian and American jazz from the Golden Age with elegant pop favorites
- Dancing after dinner
