Sosthene Mikala
Sosthene Mikala is a bilingual interpreter and teacher with over 18 years of professional experience in legal and educational environments. He works with global leaders within the United Nations, the U.S. State Department, the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations, and The African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in democracy and cultural pluralism from the New School University, as well as certificates in language proficiency and communication from New York University. Prior to coming to L’Alliance in 2009, Sosthene taught French and English at Barnard College for 3 years. He also taught French for 6 years at Prep for Prep, a school in Manhattan that develops ethical and effective leaders who reflect our diverse society for the enduring benefit of all.
