This summer, our campers will dive into the world of art in all its forms. Children ages 3 to 5 will discover different artistic disciplines by exploring a variety of themes: music, painting, sculpture, theater, cinema, fashion, photography, dance… and much more, during 9 weeks of creativity and fun!Â

A typical day in our Manhattan Day Camps for Toddlers includes:
- 9-9:15am: Drop-off and free play
- 9:15-10:30am: Greetings, daily routine, activities around the theme of the day
- 10:30-10:45am: Goûter (snack)
- 10:45-11:45am: Games and movement
- 11:45am-12pm: Cleaning time, story time, goodbyes and dismissal (end of half-day)
- 12-12:30pm: Lunch
- 12:30-1:30pm: Playtime in Central Park (weather permitting)
- 1:30-2:15pm: Quiet time
- 2:15-3:30pm: Activities around the theme of the day
- 3:30-3:45pm: Goûter (snack)
- 3:45-4pm: Cleaning time, story time, goodbyes and dismissal (end of full-day)
- 4-5:30pm: Aftercare (optional)

Week 1 | Our Little Music Lovers | June 22 - June 26
This week is all about music!
Children will explore different families of musical instruments: strings, wind, percussion, keyboards, and electronic instruments, and will put on a performance at the end of the week.Â
They will also have the opportunity to create their own instruments, and a guest speaker will introduce them to French through music.Â
Week 2 | Brushes Ready, Little Artists! | June 29 - July 3
This week, our little artists become painters!
Children will explore painting in all its forms: gouache, watercolor, ink… and create a collective artwork that will be displayed at the end of the week. Each child will also take home their own creation.ÂÂ
Week 3 | Our Little Sculptors | July 6 - July 10
This week, our little artists become sculptors!Â
They will create artworks using modeling clay, papier-mâché, cardboard, and more, and prepare an art gallery to present to their parents at the end of the week.Â

Week 4 | Our Little Actors | July 13 - July 17
This week, children become actors!Â
They will discover theater with the help of a guest instructor through different activities: making their own puppets, creating their own plays and stories, and presenting them to their parents at the end of the week.ÂÂ
Week 5 | Our Little Artists Take the Runway| July 20 - July 24
This week, children become fashion designers!Â
Focusing on sustainable fashion, children will learn how to transform old clothes into new outfits or accessories. They will explore different materials such as newspaper, cardboard, felt, and more—and possibly organize a fashion show at the end of the week!Â
Week 6 | Our Little Writers | July 27 - July 31
This week, children become writers!Â
They will discover the art of reading and storytelling by creating their own book and story, which they will present to their parents at the end of the week. They will also take part in a storytime at the Alliance library.ÂÂ
Week 7 | Our Little Illustrators | August 3 - August 7
This week, children will explore drawing in all its forms!Â
Using markers, colored pencils, crayons, or pens, they will draw and create a life-size artwork, which they will present to their parents at the end of the week. Â ÂÂ
Week 8 | Our Little Dancers | August 10 - August 14
This week, children express themselves through movement!Â
They will unleash their creativity through dance, rhythmic gymnastics, yoga, and other forms of body expressionÂAn instructor from the neighboring dance studio will lead workshops for both younger and older children, plenty of movement, fun, and rhythm!Â
A performance will be presented to parents at the end of the week.Â
Week 9 | Our Little Chefs | August 17 - August 21
This week, children discover the culinary arts!Â
Cooking is also a form of art: throughout the week, children will prepare different recipes, develop their creativity in the kitchen, and of course, enjoy tasting their own creations!Â
Summer Camp Policies
APP Mini Camp:- Children must be potty-trained and used to attending a school or daycare program.
- Please dress your child comfortably and provide them with a change of clothes in a large Ziplock bag with their name on it.Â
- L’Alliance New York is a nut-free environment. Children attending the half-day camp should bring one nut-free snack and a refillable water bottle. Children attending the full-day program should bring two nut-free snacks, a cold nut-free lunch, and a refillable water bottle.
- Children attending the full-day camp will go to Central Park daily, weather permitting, and should come with sunscreen already applied. They should also bring a sheet to cover their mat at nap time.Â
Kids Camp:
- L’Alliance New York is a nut-free environment. Children should bring two nut-free snacks, a cold nut-free lunch, and a refillable water bottle.
- Children should dress comfortably (no open toe shoes or flip flops) and come with sunscreen already applied. Children will go to Central Park daily, weather permitting.
Withdrawing from a camp:
- If you need to withdraw from a camp, you have two options:
- A refund (less an $175 cancellation fee for full day camps or an $85 fee for half day camps) issued to the original form of payment. If the request is made within 24 hours of registration, a full tuition refund will be given.
- A credit (valid for 1 year) issued to your L’Alliance account that can be used for another class, private lessons, or books. The cancellation fee is waived for this option. After the first three hours or one week of class (whichever occurs first), only L’Alliance credit will be issued following a request for withdrawal. The cost for the number of classes that have occurred will be deducted from the total and a pro-rated tuition credit will be issued to the student’s L’Alliance account, valid for one year.
- Withdrawal requests must be made by June 15. After June 15, only credit will be given. No withdrawals are accepted after the start of a program. There are no allowances for absences, early withdrawals, or late starts. There is no prorating of fees.Â
