L’Alliance New York presents the U.S. Premiere of Fabrice Hyber’s Les Mutants de la Vallée. In a hybrid practice merging art and science, Hyber’s artworks originate in a real-life forest: since the late 1990s, he has sown thousands of species of trees on former agricultural land. This decades-long endeavor has resulted in vibrant watercolor drawings and sculptures that blur the boundaries between reality and imagination.

Originally created for the Centre Pompidou in Paris, this exhibition-workshop combines the tactile whimsy of mobile sculpture with interactive dance, inviting audiences of all ages to engage with more than 240 vibrantly colorful foam pieces through inventive video tutorials.
