for French Speakers
L’Alliance New York’s American teachers, specialized in teaching English as a Second Language, provide customized private English lessons for French, Francophones or other foreign-language-speaking adults or adolescents, and help them integrate into main-stream English-speaking life or education.
Start at any time and benefit from flexible scheduling and personalized instruction.
Private English lessons are available for adults, kids, and teens at all levels of proficiency. Lessons are tailored to address your level, interests, and particular needs. Lessons may be taken one-on-one or in groups of two or three.
Lessons are currently available online via Zoom, in-person at our L’Alliance New York Manhattan campus, or offsite at your home or office (within Manhattan).

Custom Courses
Theme-based custom courses that are created to meet a student’s specific learning goal. Options include: Job Interview preparation, Certification Exam preparation, Business English, Accent Modification, American Literature, Architecture, and History.
Private lesson students receive a complimentary one-year L’Alliance New York Individual Membership with free access to the library, free admission to weekly CinéSalon screenings, discounts to L’Alliance New York’s cultural events, and much more.
Our Rates
L’Alliance offers affordable Private English Lessons for individuals (1 student) and small groups (2-3 students). Prices vary depending on the type of class and the number of students. A minimum of 5 hours of lessons must be purchased.
Special rates are available for packages of 15-29 and 30+ hours.
