Testimonials

I was grateful to have the chance to speak to shopkeepers and other natives in French—and not having them switch to English. As for one specific memorable experience, that would be the night many of us had dinner at a restaurant in Cannes to celebrate the birthday of one of our fellow students. It was a merry and lively evening that was a high point of the trip.

The biggest pleasure was speaking French with greater confidence, enjoying so many things with new friends, and finally feeling good about the progress I have made with the language.

Meeting up with fellow students for meals, short shopping trips, museum visits, and the like; the trip offers time to be alone but also spend time with other students, some of whom have become friends once back in the U.S.
