“Florence wants to introduce David, the man she’s madly in love with, to her father Guillaume. But David isn’t attracted to Florence and wants to throw her into the arms of his friend Willy. The four of them meet in a restaurant in the middle of nowhere,” wrote the Cannes Film Festival when this latest film from Quentin Dupieux, director of Yannick and Daaaaaali!, premiered in 2024. Both a wild farce and a film about making a film, its plot is really a mere excuse for some of the best French actors to show off their crazy sides.
