Student Film Competition Screening at School of Visual Arts (SVA)

Launched in 2021, Animation First’s US & French Student Short Film Competition showcases the incredible talent emerging from some of the most prestigious animation schools in both countries. This year, for the first time, a selection of the student films will be screened at SVA Theatre, following the festival.

This year, participating schools include Gobelins, l’École de l’Image (Paris, France), RUBIKA (Valenciennes, France), École Emile Cohl (Lyon, France), École des Nouvelles Images (Avignon, France), California Institute of the Arts (California, USA), Savannah College of Art and Design (Georgia, USA), School of Visual Arts (New York, USA) and the University of Southern California (California, USA).
