Quelque part quelqu’un
Schedule
Monday, November 17, 2025
Yannick Bellon, 1972, 98min, DCP
Starring Loleh Bellon, Roland Dubillard, Hugues Quester, Christine Tsingos
A film unlike anything else in French cinema of the 1970s. Without moralizing, Bellon offers a harrowing depiction of the damage wrought by rapid and unchecked urban change, circa Paris in the early 1970s. A young professional couple dogged by alcoholism, and older residents forced from their homes, struggle in the new metropolis. Inspired by the sudden death of Bellon’s husband, it is unquestionably her most personal and intimate film.
