Montclair Family Screening:
Small Change
L’Argent de poche
Schedule
Sunday, September 14, 2025
François Truffaut, 1976, 105min
Starring Jean-François Stévenin and two hundred children!
Enjoy an indoor family matinée screening of Small Change, which features a series of interconnected stories following the lives of children, from toddlers to tweens, and their school yard hijinks and first loves. Truffaut said he loved working with young people, and no one has captured the mysteries of adolescence with such humor and compassion. It is also a film that poses a question, asked by Wes Anderson, “Do kids in French villages really run to school in packs?”
Movie Box lunches are available for pre-order! Lunches are $10 for children (including a sandwich—vegetarian option available—plus chips, dessert, and drink) and $15 for adults. Please note, no nut-free or gluten-free options will be offered.
Children must be supervised at all times. No outside food is permitted.
