French Shopping Day

The Montclair Campus of L’Alliance New York—together with Montclair Center BID and Experience Montclair—is proud to host Montclair’s first-ever French Shopping Day. This event will take place from 10 am to 4 pm. Shoppers are invited to participate in a vibrant, town-wide scavenger hunt that celebrates Montclair’s French presence. Shoppers can pick up a passport and map at L’Alliance’s tent on Church Street, where they’ll also discover the mystery item to search for. While on Church Street, enjoy live music from 2-4 pm and experience the South of France tables from our Regional Sponsor, CANNES.

How It Works 

• Hunt for the hidden French flag in each store and collect stamps in your passport along the way!
• Complete your passport by collecting at least 10 stamps.
• Bring your completed passport to L’Alliance’s tent on Church Street by 4 pm.
• When you return your completed passport, you will receive a 10% discount on a French class or camp at the Montclair Campus of L’Alliance New York. You also will be entered into a raffle to win one year of French courses for youth or adults. One lucky participant will also receive five raffle tickets for a chance to win the Bastille Day Grand Prize: an unforgettable getaway for two in the glamorous city of Cannes, courtesy of our Regional Sponsor, CANNES!
