Full Day Camp (grades 2-5)

We are so happy with the teachers my children have had at L’Alliance New York. They are experienced, calm, loving with the children and they create a wonderful atmosphere for learning.

Soha is the best! I love our group of students and she really knows how to teach grammar and makes it fun… I can visibly see our class improve each session.

I enjoy the focus on getting the students actually speaking in class. Other materials are presented in the homework, so it doesn’t take away from the time in class where more active participation occurs. I wouldn’t change anything.

I liked the interaction with my peers, the skits we have to prepare in class, the readings we have to do out loud, the compositions we have do at home, and the teacher’s sense of humor.

It’s immersive. It’s well run. The teachers are qualified and competent. It’s a relaxed atmosphere. I’m a big fan.

We have been with L’Alliance New York for 4 years now and both our children have had amazing educational experiences. The teachers are outstanding and very patient. There is a strong emphasis on French language but also French culture including arts, literature and cuisine. Both our children are fully bilingual and have been exposed to a wide “culture générale”. The curriculum is stimulating and rigorous. We love being part of this community.

As a French mom, it was really important to me that my son learn French and get immersed in French culture. After just a year at L’Alliance New York, it was amazing to see him transition from being merely fluent to truly bilingual. He started to answer my questions in French instead of English and would start singing French songs on his own, bringing so much joy and pride into our home. Seeing him naturally connect with our French heritage has made me incredibly happy. I’m so thankful for the teachers at L’Alliance New York who’ve gone above and beyond in nurturing my son’s love for our language and culture.

L’Alliance New York provided my son Hugo with the best possible start on his educational pathway. In my opinion, the best French teachers in the country are teaching at the Preschool. They were supportive on every level, from navigating the schools admissions process, to keeping us updated with daily activities.
