For more than 20 years, L’Alliance New York has hosted New York’s largest public celebration of France’s national holiday, with a record-breaking 50,000 attendees in 2025.

The Bastille Day celebration of the Fête Nationale Française, commemorating the storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789 which birthed the modern French nation, takes place along four blocks of Madison Avenue, on 60th Street from Fifth Avenue to Park Avenue, and in L’Alliance New York’s building. The day features live music and dance performances, champagne parties, film screenings, a classic car rally, booths representing the best of French and New York City local businesses, and kids’ activities.
