Selma Chibane
Selma Chibane was born in Algiers and grew up in a bilingual household. Before becoming a teacher, she studied math at the Lycée Hassiba Ben Bouali and received a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Ecole Nationale Veterinaire in Algiers. She moved to New York in 1996 and began teaching at L’Alliance in 2002. She has taught French as a second language to both children and adults, and has been active in L’Alliance’s summer camp program for more than a decade.
