In his final film, Wiseman follows Les Troisgros who, for four generations, have run three restaurants in central France with the 3 Michelin-starred “Le Bois sans feuilles” as the main attraction. The film follows the rhythms of their daily life: shopping, farming, menu-making, preparing and eating. It reveals a calmer side of a bustling yet civilized and creative environment, its owners tastefully evolving with the times and never tiring in their desire for continued greatness—a truly fitting swan song for the beloved creator of over forty films.
